Our March 3, 2008 meeting was called to order by Robin Hendrickson at 6:28 pm. Members present were Robin Hendrickson, Michele Lani, Geri Herrick, Natalie Sera, Susi Woosley and Debbie Guinzali. Guests included Terri Braunworth of Palomino Valley Pet Rescue as well as Allison Cady and friend.

We recapped our previous meeting by noting the need for sponsors, donations and raffle prizes for this years show.

-All but one judges contracts have been returned.

-We have received the approval to measure Stewie (Robin's Maine Coon) for the Guiness World's Longest Cat at our show.

-Channel 2 will feature our club as it's "Someone 2 know" in September. They will also be on hand for the Guiness measurements.

-We have received a $500 Rosette Sponsorship from Cozy Cattery.

-Robin spoke to Vendors that have verbally agreed to vend at our show:

     -Pence Pottery

     -Bobbie Tullo

     -Katrees (Bob Roseberry)

     -Dog Show Specialties (Gene Stinson)

-We may also have a loady from Oregon that makes cat beds to vend.

-Raffle prizes we have received:

     -Mini Digital Camera

     -Hand Tied quilt and cards from Jolene and Elaine (Robins Customer from work)

-Possible raffle prizes from Applebees and Windy City Pizzeria

-Robin working on getting show info on the website

-Next meeting it is time to assign tasks to people for the show

-Lynda Giggy is our entry clerk and is promoting our show heavily

-Our show budget is running about $25k, entries should bring about $21k

-Geri Herrick has sponsored our color catalog covers and Becis of Feline Rescue of Northern Nevada is designing the cover with real cats doing a face-off

-Robin to send Club Charter Renewal

-We will need to contact the Fire Dept and get business licenses

-Radio (Americom) will be doing PSA's for us

-Lots of stuff is still pending for our show

-We have fundraising buttons for sale for $1 each

-Looked at photos for the Grand Sierra Marquee Sign, we will vote next meeting

-2008 Nevada Week for the Animals-Super Adoption event April 12 at the Livestock and Events Center. Set up at 7:30 am. We will set up a show cage to shw about shows. Will have show info and a donation bucket.

-Geri Herrick asked for members to voluntter at the Home Show for Palomino Valley, March 7, 8, and 9. Also for the Women's Expo April 5 & 6

-Michele will try to get a new meeting noght at the shelter, as the pizza place costs a lot to eat and they want us to spend more.

-Geri suggested bring cats to meetings and exchange more info
